Cycle Against Suicide

On Thursday 3rd May 2018, St Mary's were honoured to host approximately 125 cyclists plus their mobile support who are cycling a route of 750KM around the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in order to raise awareness for suicide prevention.

Thanks to our sponsors SuperValu Irvinestown, Mahon's Hotel and Tesco Enniskillen for their fantastic support and to the Bawnacre Centre and St Paul's P.S. for help with equipment. We also graciously thank Sandra and her team in the school canteen for the amazing spread they put on for everyone.

Thank you to the guest speakers from the Mental Health organisations that were in attendance.

It's OK not to feel OK; And it's absolutely OK to ask for help.

Trócaire Car Wash

On Tuesday 27th March 2018, our Year 9 boys organised a car wash at the school in aid of Trócaire. They worked tremendously hard and all the cars came out sparkling!
Well done boys!

European Masters - Madrid 2018

We are extremely proud of our very own PE teacher - Mrs Denise Toner - who represented Ireland in the 2018 European Masters and brought home 2 silver medals after coming second in the team cross country event and for running 4:43.20 in the W35 1500m coming narrowly behind Spanish winner Beatriz Antolin who ran 4:42.11. Such an achievement!

Trócaire Coffee Morning

On Friday 16th March 2018, our Year 11 Prince's Trust class held a very successful coffee morning. Prizes were donated for a raffle at the event, including a wonderful cake by the very talented Maeve McGirr. The morning was a great treat for all and for a very worthy cause.
Special thanks to our very talented students Odhran Sweeney and Ben Muldoon for providing music accompanied by our music teacher, Mrs McGirr.
